We've made a lot of false claims and look at how far they've traveled.
5G Bolivia and beyond
5G portable
signals either spread the infection or decrease their safeguards, there's
positively no chance.
But it has
not stopped the rumors from going global, and has sparked protests in countries
where technology is not yet available.
In Bolivia,
in addition to sharing videos of telecommunications equipment, claims are
responsible for the 5G coronavirus, which has led to masked attacks in two
cities.
Adriana
Oliveira, a journalist with Bolivia Verfefa, says there is no 5G technology in
the country, but "looking at these rumors, with the fact that everyone is
limited to lockdowns, people have I pulled the antenna. K. Ara and Yapakani.

Corona virus crisis in Latin America
Indeed, even
some senior lawmakers and non common pioneers are making bogus cases about the
innovation, connecting it to the spread of the infection.
A former
Nigerian senator has said in a video shared 25,000 times on Facebook that the
epidemic covers purely the introduction of ly 5G, suggesting that it is
harmful.
"Individuals
with essential ailments," he says, "are handily eaten by the response
to the present 5G innovation and that they pass on."
A zealous
minister in Tanzania said on Instagram and YouTube that the spread of the
coronavirus was on account of the headway of portable innovation.
A former
Grand Mufti of Egypt has spoken on television about the 5G network and how it
can cause electrical disturbances, creating an ideal environment for the spread
of the coronavirus.
In Europe,
meanwhile, there have been protests and masked attacks as a result of panic.
The BBC has
reported dozens of antenna crashes in the UK.

In Serbia,
5G conspiracies and speculations about Bill Gates have been popular in both
television and tabloid press, where stories are often taken from English or
Russian sources.
"So we
get to see the same fake news that is in Britain, the United States or
elsewhere," said Lazara Marnkovic, who reported BBC News Serbia's
anonymity.
Celebrities
have also sparked speculation, including Novak Djokovic who revealed his
opposition to vaccinations in April and his wife Jelena shared a video about
5G. Conspiracies were promoted.
British
conspiracy theorist - David Icke has been a spreader of 5G claims in the English-speaking
world kicked off Facebook and YouTube.
Clips where
he talks about the connection between 5G and the virus have been censored on
social media but are still accessible online, causing hundreds of thousands of
views on Russian YouTube and Facebook accounts.
Bill Gates and microchips
In the world
of epidemic conspiracy theorists, billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates is not
far away.
One of the
most widely misunderstood claims is that the epidemic is a grand scheme
developed by Bill Gates to inject microchips into humans in addition to the
virulence vaccine.
Despite the
lack of total evidence to support this theory, its global reach is sufficient.
The International Fact Checking Network, IFCN, has a database with Corona Virus
Fact Checks from their partner network. This shows that fact-checkers from at
least 14 countries have launched local versions of the microchip theory,
including Greece, Kazakhstan, the Philippines and Mexico.
A YouTube
video from Argentina that supports the idea has 1.3 million views.
Another
Pakistani Facebook video reiterates this claim and has been viewed about
6650,000 times since it was published in May.
Some
versions of the theory put their local spin on it. Imaginary microchips in
Arabic were dubbed "anti-crust chips" in a video with more than
375,000 views on YouTube and multiple posts on Facebook.
BBC News
Brazil has seen a version of the "microchip" theory in Portuguese
messages circulating on WhatsApp and Facebook. Users are copying and pasting a
portion of the text that opens with the words: "I have to admit, Bill
Gates is really a skeptic! It's easy to control submissive people."
The message
claims that Bill Gates is finalizing plans for a "stamp-shaped vaccine
that goes under the skin" and that it will be used to control them via 5G.
Will be linked to profiles.
The
combination of microchip theory with 5G conspiracies was promoted in Brazil by
Alan Dos Santos, a strong supporter of President Bolsenaro, whose "fake
news" is being investigated by the Brazilian Federal Investigation Agency.
In a tweet
that has been liked more than 14,000 times, he quoted a Pakistani commentator
as saying that Bill Gates wants to inject nano-chips to control the population
through 5G. Separating himself fairly from the cases, he included,
"Asbird? It's important to
discuss."
Multilingual moderation
Content
moderation around the world is outsourced by Facebook to international
fact-finding organizations. Rory Smith of First Draft says some regions, such
as North America and Europe, have tougher systems than others, which are
"fact-checking deserts."
"As an
ever increasing number of individuals start to accept these tricks," he
cautioned, "this could lead on to an ascent in hesitance to immunization,
which in itself could lead on to an alternate worldwide public health
crisis." "
